Getting There
Suttons Bay is a 30 minute drive from Traverse City. The closest airport, Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) in Traverse City, is about a 10 minute drive to the general downtown area of Traverse City. Grand Rapids Airport (GRR) is a 2-hour drive from the Traverse City area, and Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) is a 4 hour drive.
Where To Stay
Hotels in Northern Michigan book up fast in the autumn months, and you will want to book your accommodations early. We suggest that our guests stay in the general Traverse City area. For those who enjoy a more urban vibe we recommend The Delamar Hotel and Hotel Indigo, both of which sit right on Grand Traverse Bay and are within walking distance to restaurants, shops and more. However, there are many other hotels in downtown Traverse City should you wish to look into these.
Houses can be rented in Traverse City or the Leelanau Peninsula, and for a more rustic feel, there are hotels in Suttons Bay!! The area has so much to offer from great wineries to farmers markets, amazing beaches and cute art shops.

Getting Around
Cars can be rented at the Traverse City airport, but ubers and taxis are sparsely available in Northern Michigan. Cars, of course, can be rented at the Grand Rapids airport or Detroit Metro airport.
The Delamar Hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to and from the Traverse City airport. The Indigo Hotel does not provide airport shuttle service.
On wedding day, shuttles to the wedding venue will leave from the Delamar Hotel for their guests and anyone staying elsewhere, and The Indigo Hotel for guests of that hotel.
